Govt nominates ambassadors for China and India

 The Cabinet meeting on Thursday nominated ambassadorial candidates for China and India. The meeting held at PM’s office in Singha Durbar, Kathmandu, proposed Deep Kumar Upadhyay for Nepali ambassador to India and Chief Secretary Lila Mani Poudel for China. Upadhyay, who was serving as Nepal’s ambassador to India since April 2015, was suddenly recalled by the erstwhile KP Sharma Oli-led government in May. 
Likewise, the Cabinet appointed Min Bahadur Shrestha as Vice Chairman of National Planning Commission. Shrestha is serving at Nepal Rastra Bank. The government has appointed Shree Ram Poudel as PM’s economic advisor and Rishi Adhikari as Foreign Advisor to PM, Government Spokesperson and Minister for Information Ram Karki informed.
