Mission To empower youth to achieve sustainable development on the individual, local, and global levels History The project developed from Friendship Ambassadors Foundation’s cultural exchanges aimed at cultivating youth development. Since 2004, a team of dedicated core staff and a network of officials, organizations, and tireless volunteers have maintained this unique platform to allow youth to find solutions to today’s development issues.
Impact The Youth Assembly is the recognized as the largest and longest running youth conference at the United Nations. Over the course of our previous 17 sessions, 12,000 youth from all over the world developed a better understanding of the various practices and perspectives in international development. Through our extensive alumni network, International Youth Council, and partnership with like-minded organizations such as The Resolution Project, the Youth Assembly’s powerful impact ripples far beyond the three-day conference. Delegates leave the assembly with the knowledge and resources they need to make a genuine and ongoing change.
