China's record-breaking glass bridge closes
From all around the world people were traveling to visit the world's highest and longest glass-bottomed bridge but the bridge is a little TOO MUCH in demand. The structure hangs over China's Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon and it has closed just 13 days after it opened to the public on August 20. A spokesperson from the Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon's marketing and sales department told CNN, quote: "We're overwhelmed by the volume of visitors." The glass bridge is limited to 8,000 visitors per day, but total demand was ten times as much. So the bridge isn't closing because there may be a problem with it but it is simply TOO good.
